Harriet Beecher Stowe’s greatest work was Uncle Tom’s Cabin but her greatest battle may have been with Alzheimer’s. Stowe’s War, an original production of Mark Twain's Traveling Theatre, confronts the disease and celebrates the friendship, humor, and courage of two of America’s most consequential authors: Harriet Beecher Stowe (played by Susan Chase) and Mark Twain (played by Richard Bonnette).
Hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association of Delaware Valley and Merrill Lynch of Mt. Laurel, NJ, all proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Delaware Valley.
